| Sara Rue was born in the United States. Her most well-known role is for her character Claudia Claude Casey, a character from ABC Networks' sitcom Less Than Perfect. Her career began as a child star in such films as Grand, Rocket Gibraltar, and The Grand. Through the years, she has played several characters that have returned. She is now one of the top television actresses. She has been in key roles on the likes of For Christ's Sake Gypsy 8 and Miss Dial. Rue has also been seen on stage in shows such as The Water Children, Little Egypt and Gregg Henry's musical Little Egypt. In 2009she was the brand ambassador for the popular diet firm Jenny Craig. Shedding for the Wedding was the reality TV show that Rue hosted in 2011. In the same time, she was also the special guest judge for RuPaul's Drag Race.
